CDC Has No Science Proving Infant Vaccines Don’t Cause Autism

CDC reveals they have no studies clearing infant vaccines from causing autism

“The Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN) reports that they recently discovered that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) quietly removed the claim that, “vaccines do not cause autism” from the CDC’s website. The changes follow a battle launched by ICAN in 2017 that challenged the CDC to produce the science that supports the claim that vaccines do not cause autism. And the CDC cannot do it.

Much more important than changes to a website though is the reason why the CDC made the changes. ICAN forced the CDC to identify the studies that support the claim that vaccines do not cause autism . The list of 20 studies include none that show that the regularly recommended vaccines given to American children six months and younger do not cause autism.

That statement is worth repeating: The CDC has no science that shows the vaccines they recommend for all American children under six months do not cause autism.

How often have you been told or read that this issue has been studied again and again and there is nothing to it? Here is the proof that those claims are lies.

On March 2, 2020 the CDC signed a court stipulation that identified a list of the studies they have relied upon to support the statement that vaccines do not cause autism. The list reveals that the CDC have no studies absolving the following vaccines of a role in causing autism:  diphtheria, tetanus acellular pertussis (DTaP), hepatitis B (HepB), polio (IPV), haemophilus influenza b (Hib), and Prevnar 13 (PCV13).

Please call and send messages explaining this issue with links to the relevant court documents to the Governor of your State, your State’s two US Senators, your member of the US House, and your representative in your state’s upper and lower houses.”

“ICAN’s effort began with a Freedom of Information Act request in 2017 that led eventually to a lawsuit filed in December of 2019. The lawsuit resulted in a stipulation signed by the CDC where they admit that only one vaccine, the measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), and one vaccine ingredient, thimerosal, a mercury-based antibiotic once used in most vaccines given to American children, have been studied for a role in causing autism. A study of the DTaP mentioned by CDC concluded, “The epidemiologic evidence is insufficient or absent to assess an association between diphtheria toxoid-, tetanus toxoid-, or acellular pertussis-containing vaccine and autism.”

We have heard and read it thousands of times,  “Vaccines do not cause autism.” But the federal government has done almost no research to support that claim. And no research at all on the vaccines given to children younger than one year. Call it lies, call it propaganda, the CDC have been forced to admit that they have no evidence for those claims.”

“AUSTIN, TX (March 5, 2020) — In a federal lawsuit filed by the non-profit Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN), the Center for Disease Control (CDC) has failed to produce scientific studies that back up its long-declared assertion that vaccines given to babies in the first six months of life do not cause autism.

The CDC claims on its website that “Vaccines Do Not Cause Autism.”[1]  Despite this claim, studies have found between 40% and 70% of parents with an autistic child continue to blame vaccines for their child’s autism, typically pointing to vaccines given during the first six months of life.[2]

Vaccines given during the first six months of life, according to the CDC’s childhood vaccine schedule, include three doses each of DTaP, HepB, Hib, PCV13 and IPV, for a total of fifteen doses in these six months.[3]

In the summer of 2019, ICAN submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the CDC for “All studies relied upon by CDC to claim that the DTaP vaccine does not cause autism.”[4]

ICAN also submitted this same request for HepB, Hib, PCV13 and IPV vaccines, and additionally requested that the CDC provide studies to support its claim that the cumulative exposure to these vaccines during the first six months of life do not cause autism.[5]

Despite months of demands, the CDC failed to produce a single study in response to these FOIA requests.[6] ”
