Authors of a February 2023 Environmental Research report conclude, “there is substantial scientific evidence that RFR causes cancer, endocrinological, neurological and other adverse health effects”.

Current RFR guidelines to protect public health and environmental safety are inadequate and in urgent need of being updated based on the current state of science.
