The wind industry is aggressively pushing their huge wind towers, though some small towns in Wisconsin don’t want them. To protect public health and safety, residents and property owners are drafting local ordinances which will protect and prioritize the best interests of their small communities.
Though the federal government and state legislature have tried to green-light the roll out of wind projects, with a protective ordinance and local resistance in place, big companies may simply decide to look elsewhere to site their wind towers.
