Joe Biden’s plan to destroy sacred land in Nevada is facing strong opposition from Paiute and Shoshone Tribal communities who say that in addition to negative environmental impacts, the lithium mine would desecrate a site where their ancestors were massacred by the U.S. Cavalry after the Civil War.

“Sustainable” mining is an oxymoron. There is no way to convert a living land base into products and protect its unique biodiversity and cultural value. There is no clean way to dig into the Earth, “backfill it,” and try to return the ecosystem to its natural state, which took hundreds of years to develop. If we actually want a chance for a livable planet, we must stop the poisoning before it happens, not tolerate the amount corporations are permitted to poison, or sacrifice what remains of the natural world for a “greater good” — a faulty pretense.”

The current administration has no plans to protect the environment. Joe Biden’s push for geoengineering, wind farms, microwave antenna (“4G/5G/6G”) infrastructure, and carbon capture and storage, demonstrate a policy of environmental warfare and hostile disregard for American lives and sacred lands.
