July 21, 2023 | Non-recyclable wind turbine blades — Image Source | Government subsidies and mass marketing campaigns have built the free-falling wind and solar industries. Solar panels that get thrown into landfills contain extremely toxic blends of lead, cadmium, tellurium, heavy earth material, silver, crystalline silicon and gallium arsenide. Thousands of non-recyclable wind turbine blades weighing between 10 to 25 tons are simply dumped in landfills. The plastics in the blades are toxic, and contain Bisphenol A, so harmful to health that it is banned in the European Union and Canada.
The bottom line is that wind and solar energy is not green, not cheap, and not reliable enough to meet America’s energy demands.
