Yesterday SpaceX launched the Jupiter 3 communications satellite which is advertised to provide satellite internet to North and South America.
According to the Hughes Communications, “JUPITER 3 (EchoStar XXIV) is the highly anticipated, next generation Ultra High Density Satellite (UHDS) that will double the capacity of the Hughes JUPITER satellite fleet. Once launched, this powerful communications satellite will support in-flight Wi-Fi, maritime connections, enterprise networks, backhaul for Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), and Community Wi-Fi solutions, in addition to satellite internet connectivity across North and South America.”
Amazon also has an initiative to “deploy thousands of satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) linked to a global network of antennas, fiber, and internet connection points on the ground.” Bill Gates has invested in satellites and “5G” ground-based microwave tower and antenna infrastructure as well.
Some may wonder what’s involved in satellite communications “service” or Wi-Fi delivery from space. Setting aside the skillful use of marketing terms such as “Wi-Fi,” “broadband,” and “connections,” what is actually being transmitted is Radiofrequency/Microwave (RF/MW) Radiation, a harmful physical agent.
What are the consequences of satellites covering the Earth with RF/MW Radiation?
When thinking of microwaves, we often think about the microwave oven, which operates at about the same frequency as wireless, or Wi-Fi, at 2.4 – 2.5 GHz.

The reason why 2.4 to 2.5 GHz is very problematic is that this frequency is a wavelength of about 5″, which is close to the dimensions of the human head and brain, as well as other organs. This means that radiation absorption is maximized in these organs. Further, because of maximized absorption, no exposure level is safe.

Satellite systems interact with ground-based microwave antenna infrastructures. People, plants, animals, bees, and all biological life are being exposed to increased levels of RF/MW Radiation ostensibly for phone and internet “service,” but satellites are also deployed as weaponry as well as for the total surveillance of every inch of the Earth.

In sum, rocket pollution, radiation, and space junk from satellite systems, as well as microwave weapons are not Earth friendly.
Prioritizing future-proof, hard-wired connections, enacting strong safety measures to reign in satellite/ground-based microwave antenna infrastructures, and meaningful public oversight are necessary to protect all life on Earth.
