Carbon Pipeline Permit Rejected in North Dakota

August 6, 2023 | Image source | North Dakota Public Service Commission denied a permit to Summit Carbon Solutions for a pipeline to transport their toxic waste to be stored underground.

The Order stated: “The commission finds that (Summit Carbon Solutions) has not provided sufficient evidence to demonstrate that the location, construction, operation and maintenance of the project will produce minimum adverse impacts upon the welfare of the citizens of North Dakota.”
