Nebraska passes sound money bill

May 12, 2024 | Image source | Nebraska is the 12th state to end capital gains taxes on sales of gold and silver. LB 1317 also revised Nebraska’s definition of money stating, “Money does not include central bank digital currency.”

Bill sponsor Senator Hansen said, “I believe we have to be extra vigilant in our assessment and application of a Central bank digital currency to make sure they do not become a danger to our freedom. That’s why we defined in LB 1317 that CBDC’s are not classified as currency in Nebraska, which should help protect against unwarranted mandates for their use in the future.”

Kentucky, Utah, and Wisconsin have enacted similar sound money legislation this year. Anti CBDC measures have passed in Florida, Indiana, South Dakota, and Tennessee, as state lawmakers work to protect the public from increasing federal debt.

Gold and silver are the only forms of currency mentioned in our Constitution and with that comes the people’s ability to use it as such without penalty from the government. Saving, and using, gold and silver is our right and one of the only checks and balances to our federal government’s unending devaluation of our paper currency.

-Nebraska Senator Ben Hansen

At the federal level, U.S. Representative Alex Mooney of West Virginia reintroduced the Monetary Metals Tax Neutrality Act, which would remove federal income tax from silver and gold coins and bullion.

Is Your State Protecting Financial Freedom?

May 19, 2023

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is a central component in the orchestrated economic demolition of the American (and world) economy to reset the financial system.  Legislative efforts are underway at the federal level with H.R. 1122, the “CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act,” introduced by Minnesota Representative Tom Emmer “to prohibit the use of central bank digital currency for monetary policy.”

Additionally, the “No Central Bank Digital Currency Act,” S. 967, was introduced by Utah Senator Mike Lee, “prohibiting the Federal Reserve or any federal government agency from minting or issuing a CBDC, whether through a direct-to-consumer or intermediated model.”

At the local level there are many ways, in addition to using cash, for people to counteract the central bank digital currency (CBDC).

One way to protect data collection being used to determine your social credit or ESG score, is to power off the cell phone. Phones are surveillance tools to be utilized for CBDC’s.

April 18, 2023 | Image source

HB 1718, The Arkansas Legal Tender Act, passed overwhelmingly in the House, by a vote of 82-8, and unanimously in the Senate. The bill was signed into law by Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders on April 11th. The law reaffirms silver and gold as legal tender, and ends all taxes on sale, purchase, or exchange of specie, including Arkansas state capital gains taxes.

According to HB 1718, “Specie” is defined as, “Coin having gold or silver content; or refined gold or silver bullion that is coined, stamped, or imprinted with its weight and purity; and valued primarily based on its metal content not its form.”

Other states joining Arkansas in moving toward constitutionally sound money include Kansas, Montana, Idaho, Tennessee, Wyoming, Missouri, Minnesota, Iowa, West Virginia, Alaska, South Carolina and others.

Kansas HB 2405 Would Make Gold and Silver Legal Tender

February 5, 2023 | Kansas HB 2405 Would Make Gold and Silver Legal Tender | Image Source

If passed, The Kansas Legal Tender Act, HB 2405 would allow Kansans to use gold and silver in everyday transactions. The policy would have the potential to help avoid the planned Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) and weaken the control of the Federal Reserve.

Article I, Section 10, of the U.S. Constitution clearly states that “No State shall…make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts.”

Utah, Oklahoma, and Wyoming already recognize gold and silver as legal tender.
